The Jabber of the Joules

I love to travel and meet new places and people. To challange myself to try new things and make good memories so when I am at home, I can think and smile. I have strong feelings but try to keep an open mind.

Visit by Pita

Wow - talk about a flying visit!
It was absolutely lovely. To quote a British friend.
Busy, quick moving. Can hardly believe how fast.
Let's see -
to keep it interesting, I decided to start out by being sick. Yup - came down with a cold the day before, so it was trying to take over the day I picked up Peter from the airport.
That would be Tues Dec 30th
Luckily - speaking with Strange, she recommended Zicam. As do I - highly. knocked it down and felt much better much more quickly.

Worked Tues - left after watching on Flightview & seeing Pita's plane LAND EARLY!! Yes folks, at one point it was predicted an HOUR early. Does that actually happen these days?
and I highly recommend picking people up from International at O'Hare. Sooo simple.
I did forget about customs, but wasn't tooo early. They suggest 40 minutes average up to 2 hours to make it thru customs. Pita was out within the hour.
I always wonder where to find them, now that you can't wait at the gate... but they're two options, A or B that they exit thru and the board let's you know where that flight shud emerge.
Also close by parking and for under an hour it's only $2.00. Amazing. yes, I highly recommend having your friends fly in thru international.
Of course, then, you need international friends....
Or maybe you could request they all fly out of the country before flying back in....

So Like I said, got Pita, we jumped into the Bougmobile and were off.
Headed on home, and with him being a bit tired and me being a bit under the weather, after talking and grabbing some soup both crashed by 7pm. It was ok, had to stay up late next day.
