The Jabber of the Joules

I love to travel and meet new places and people. To challange myself to try new things and make good memories so when I am at home, I can think and smile. I have strong feelings but try to keep an open mind.

running about like a headless chicken

It's busy at work.
Mostly cause over the last week I've been pulled in more than the usual multitude of directions.
Murray took some well deserved time off.
But.
that leaves us (Kurt & I) to cover his work.
Ordering material for the yard. Amazing how hard it is to guess what & when to bring things in. So that we have the longest time possible to pay...
Then, I also received the great compliment of being good at my job. and being asked to train my counterpart for the south office.
So yes, it is a compliment, but what a crazy time of the year to be training someone! Even two weeks ago, would have helped.
But of all things, the snow helped. Slowed things down.
but the chicken comment refers to how I felt by the end of the day.
Trying to put into 3 days what I was trained in in over a year.
Plus the fact that she doesn't have the product background. Lots to take in.
Then, not really realizing how tiring it is to slow down and explain every step you take.
And for myself, to explain what the theory behind the method is. So that it makes a more complete picture. Allows her to bring the theory out to help later on. For the reason why there is repetition.
